Hi! I grew up in the North of Tasmania in a little town called George Town located by the beach. My first memory of art is using water colours and canvas painting with Mum, and doing art with Vicki and Zoe. I remember doing pastel and crayon art in school with my teachers Ms Bernal, Mrs Best and Mrs Purdon. My Nan bought me a kids sewing machine and I made clothes for my sisters dolls. I don't think there was a time where I became an artist, I was just always creative and loved art. The main type of art I make is fashion and textiles, but I do enjoy photography, filming, painting and drawing. I come up with my ideas by going on adventures and seeing things that I haven't seen before that spark ideas. I then draw a messy sketch of the idea and then see how I can put all of it together. I also love going into the art section of any store ready for ideas to spark. The bright vibrate colours and smooth textures of fabrics. Things I like to do apart from art are going to the beach and traveling, going on adventures as well as working in our family coffee van. In the future, I would love to become a fashion designer and actor, as well as owning my own business. My art philosophy is: Finish what you start, even if it doesn't turn out how you wanted it to.
